There are scenarios that are beyond your control. For instance is your online account. What would you do if one day you’re unable to access your BDO online account and prompted you that your account is locked?

The main cause of locked account is if the user had entered incorrect username or password and failed within 3 login attempts. The account can also be locked if is not used for several months. But, there are other unknown reasons why and how an account gets locked.
How to fix the BDO Online when “Account is Locked” issue
- Visit the bdo.com.ph website and click the “Account is Locked” link and input your user ID.
- You will receive a One-Time Password on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP received on the appropriate box to continue resetting your BDO account. You can call 631-8000 (BDO Hotline) if you don’t have registered mobile number. After resetting your account, you will receive your user ID and temporary password sent to your email. The temporary password can be used only for 3 days and it should be changed before it expires.
- You can now use the User ID and temporary password in logging in to your BDO Online Banking Account. This time you need to provide the OTP. Once you successfully login to your account, you should update or change your password.
Updating your mobile number is also necessary because that is where the OTP is forwarded every time you will access your BDO online account. The OTP plays significant role for the safety and security of your online account.
Likewise, you should also jot down your login info in a notebook and keep it in a place that you only know.
